In April 2025, Van Rossum returns to Salone del Mobile with CAIRN, its first collaboration with Studio KO. The collection introduces a new perspective to Van Rossum’s design language, balancing the precision the brand is known for with natural irregularities. Inspired by the asymmetry found in nature, CAIRN is defined by structured yet fluid forms, assembled with visible joints and subtle shifts in proportion. It moves between formal and relaxed, shaped by both exacting craftsmanship and an instinctive approach to composition.

Presented within an enclosed setting, the exhibition juxtaposes dusky pink, textile-covered walls with the weight of dark, brushed oak and patinated brass. Conceived by Thomas Haarmann, Creative Director of Van Rossum, the exhibition stand balances structure and looseness, refinement and rawness.
